Dear Miss Adams:

I just wanted to tell you that I always thought you were a wonderful actress and so beautiful, equal, if not better than, Ava Gardner. Your generation was very lucky to have so many well written, intelligent scripts to go along with so many talented and classy actors and actresses. Anytime I see you on TV - I just caught you on Andy Griffith - I stop what I'm doing to watch you.
